The Psalm Project #11

Bible Open to Psalms

You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever (Psalm 30:11-12 NIV).

Dear God, Sometimes I think the painful times will last forever.
I cry and I squirm, I pray and I wait.
I hope for relief, and I think it will never come.

But You will answer me
and provide Your help and healing at the perfect time.
Relief from my pain makes me laugh with joy
and dance with thankfulness. Amen.
