The Psalm Project #49

Bible Open to Psalms

When I called, you answered me;
you made me bold and stouthearted (Psalm 138:3).

How often has my prayer been “Dear God, make it stop!”
And yet, I had to endure.
But there was always an end to my suffering,
or at least a new way to go on.
Lord, knowing You are always with me gives me strength to persevere.
You are transforming me into a person who can overcome adversity.
Thank You for Your blessed presence, which strengthens me. Amen.
